Day Training
At Pioneer, we believe meaningful work begins with meaningful preparation. Our Day Training program, offered through Supports for Community Living (SCL) and Michelle P. Waiver services—both Medicaid programs, is designed to give participants facing barriers to employment the practical skills, confidence, and support they need to succeed. In addition, our Life Skills program helps participants build independence through training in areas such as communication, self-advocacy, healthy living, and daily living skills, while also promoting community integration through real-world experiences and connections. Whether it’s a first job, a new direction, or greater involvement in the community, Pioneer provides a clear path forward grounded in hands-on experience, mentorship, and person-centered support that honors each participant’s strengths, goals, and choices.
